Meztizos, inheritors of great nations, to the people of this shore of the world, memory and time are confluent dimensions and no a cause of existential anguish, statements of an integral cosmic vision where the human-being moves away from the fury and attaches to the world's beating to insert his fluidity to the universal rhythm. This makes the Meseaomerican reality more embracing, and our notion of time more concise.

The Mayans derived from that perspective a concept of an ever lasting present, permanently irresolute, spiral and winding, ascendant, a time -accepted by us- usually dramatic and optimist that congregates past and future in the possibility of a paradoxical relativism, with the plasticity and hope for each individual's journal that becomes community history.

From the reconstruction of stellar maps in the earthly plane through architectonic complex of unpublished rhythms and singular symmetries, also the decorating of vases, weavings and jewelry and the imposition of appellative names, and teogonicos mazes and myths that the ancients still habit, is how we arrive to accept the need of signs more symbolic, original from elemental and immediate things, from surrounding reality, the patient snail, the dead leaves whirl, the flaming voracious bonfire, the nest of wasps, the gadfly cloud and the band of locust, the snake of crotalis and the great cieba tree, bridge of both spiritual and physical worlds.

Catastrophes, wars and plagues put the Mayans, however, to the fragility conjured to the building help of the basely forces and the temporality was born lighted by the instant of divinity. To conserve that moment no gift is enough great, even sacrifice itself, but according to the news of the heavens and the cyclic movement of nature, it is precise to take the counting of dreams, it means yesterday in a remote date established intending to foretell predictions of thousand of years with its rhythms and pauses. Those pauses, known as Tide of Years, took place only every fifty-two years, end of a Mayan century and a new beginning for an era, an opportunity for permanence through change.

The concert derives also from logic needs and it is famous the transcendental meeting in Xochicalco among the representatives of the three great cultures original of Meseoamerica. The Nahoa, the Maya and the Zapoteca, where an adjustment of the calendar was agreed to establish the ritual series and to settle down in all known land the same rhythm of the world and men, with the ceremonial pauses celebrated with grandiose parties and days to keep the mystery.

Then, Mayan history passes through space and vibrates in time, but it is consciousness of general property in the echo recovered by us, the mix people. The present can be adverse, but it will change, we shall live it again and make it better.

A bloody imposition of the Christian occidental ideology tried to make us forget this knowledge, implanting tension and intimate breakdowns, clenches that over five hundred and fifty years of Alexander and Julian calendars have not stopped. Born from crossing the races, the underlying impulse to recover these memories and the relearning are still precise.

Since the boundaries of twenty century, in face of the third Christian millennium, in the border of year 2000, the presence of our own culture, old as time, owner of an anxious ideas and preponderant, comfort us.

We do not come from time: we are time. The lots of cosmic perceptions, generated by materialist rationalism, little has to tell us and in contrast of axial axis of technological civilizations, but inhumane, and it becomes more obvious to refer to sequential concepts of space and time according to the Aristotelian logic or the space limits given by the Pitagoras and Euclides planes against the intangible intellectual acomplishement generated by Pre-Columbian cultures.

Between mysticism of the East and the Physician of quantum by Zenon, approaches have been given, what permits to intuit similar ideas about the new world. Today, we know that relativist perceptions and infinitesimal measures of beings and things exist, kind of tridimentional spaces like the "dona" or the ones suggested in the film of Moebius and the drawings of Escher, "phantoms" from irruption and confluence of both, even the fourth dimension and the "grab" that connects, we have discovered the become time and the return heraclitane are possible and from it on to have holes, lost threads, receptions and imperfections and also elasticity.

Our memory is unrelenting presence, will of keeping on in the deepest root that feeds us as a branch of the universal humanity tree, of men that never give up at the temptation of emptiness.
